Trends are beginning to emerge with bathroom remodeling projects across the country. Your current vanity is likely something around 30” in height. The average kitchen top counter is 6” taller than that. While the 30” vanity might be a standard, it is also uncomfortable for many people to have to use on a regular basis. There are even ways of building in cubbies inside or attached to the vanity to store this stool for easy access. This would also keep it out of the middle of the floor when it isn’t being actively used.

There are far more options with vanities now then there have ever been. With that in mind, you are not limited to raising your vanity only 6”, nor are you required to raise it that high.
